Animal lovers!!!♥ ♥ ♥ Today it's volunteership !

Happiness is an inside job! And as an animal lover, how do I keep myself happy? Well, I volunteer at the MSAW( Mauritius society for animal welfare). It is my happiness therapy. Imagine yourself being welcomed by a pack of dogs, all excited to meet you. It surely includes jumping in joy, the calming purrs of cats, lots and lots of licking and LOVE ! 

Situated in Rose-hill, clearly far from where I live ( i live in Mahebourg), the MSAW has a small but strong network of volunteers aged between 14 and 25. 

Our work starts around 9h30 in morning. After morning greetings, we help with cleaning of different  kennels of dogs and cats. That includes the cleaning the kennel of dogs and cats poop, washing, giving the doggies a bath. We try to make it  a must to walk the adult dogs- a moment of "physical effort" but mostly sharing and bonding between adoptive mom and dads with their "kiddos".

 But actually, it's all about the love and solidarity that we share among volunteers. volunteering at an animal shelter means accepting to co-operate for the welfare of animals.

Sometimes, it is the little things that shapes relationships in life and the relationship with a pet is no different. I'm being the adoptive mom of a female mixed boxer breed. I named her Caramel due to the color of her fur. She's a total sweetheart, so friendly and extremely beautiful.

In the mean time, some of us are still at the shelter. Play time with the puppies.

PET CRUSH ! 

Our Pet crush of the week is the "Ti Gardien". He's curious and a good guard. Cherry on the top, he's got eyes of two different colors- one brown and the other blue. He needs a Forever home :)
